Construction has begun!
We were able to begin putting up the structure of our new facility over the last few weeks. We are so excited about this development and are still hopeful for a fall 2022 move-in!

Thanks to our many generous donors and supporters, we have begun the process of construction on a building of our own in DeWitt.
Special thanks to Faith Church for their recent contribution that made this dream possible!
Our plan for moving in is fall 2021 - more info to follow!
Stay tuned!!
We have had difficulty with the reliability of the phone app that we have been using, so we are switching to a new one, but it means having to get a new number, so as of March 2, 2021
our new number is
517-798-0232
You can text or call us at this number.
Our volunteers are virtually schooling our children, so we can generally reply to texts faster!

Last June Love In Deed was able to move into a community center, East Olive Community Center, located in St. John’s. This has been a great benefit for us to service our community by allowing foster families to come shop for what they need. Thanks to East Olive Community Center for allowing us run our operation from there.

2018 should be a year of progress. Our minimum goal for the building fund has been achieved. We are now in the process of attaining permission from the local government to build on the proposed site. We will also be hosting the second annual Squirt Gun 5k Fun Run on July 27th. The support from our local communities continues to be generous. Thank you to all that have helped our cause.
Since January of this year, our building fund has grown from zero% to over 60% of the goal. This has been a great encouragement, and we are very grateful for the generosity of all donors. Thank you!

Title: I Don’t Want To! Getting Along With Birth Parents
Presented by: Melissa Buck, STVCC foster parent
Our relationship with the birth parents is a key part of the fostering parenting process. Maintaining an appropriate relationship with birth parents is part of loving and caring for our placements. It's difficult and messy and we're not always jumping for joy over it; but the benefits outweigh our fear...so we need to learn how to get on board!
Join us Sunday, April 24th from 1:00p.m. - 3:00p.m. at Faith Church 2300 Lake Lansing Rd. Lansing 48912
Please RSVP at: loveindeedinc@gmail.com by April 20th
Please include number of adults and number and ages of children. Childcare is available for $3/child.
What a great start to a new year! This month we have seen our pathway begin to unfold. Agencies are referring families our way, this website and social media have generated requests for services, and we may have an opportunity that allows us to begin providing basic comfort items and clothing to children nearly immediately after they are removed from some undesirable situations. During this past week alone, we served five families.
We have also been the recipient of generous support from our community, and multiple organizations with a presence here. In appreciation of that generosity, we have created a list on this site to publicly acknowledge those organizations. A button located at the bottom of our "How You Can Help" page will bring up our initial list of supporters. In the future we hope to add more names to that list and find a more prominent way to display our appreciation. If you have given in any way, and would like your name to appear on our list of donors, please send us a message and let us know. We would be happy to add your name to the list.
Thank you again for the support, and please feel free to contact us if you would like to help in any way. We are currently in short supply of baby items like blankets, diapers, and wipes. We also need new socks and underwear in all kids sizes, and size 5-7 pants for both boys and girls.
We are grateful to those who have already contributed to our cause. This week our website has added functionality that should make it better. Automated contact forms should make it easier to contact us for any reason, and we now have the ability to securely accept credit card donations. Please feel free to contact us with any comments or suggestions for this site. We are always looking for opportunities to improve.
Love In Deed, Inc. began to fulfill its mission in September of 2015. Thanks to generous contributions from our local communities, we have been able to supply clothes, bedding and backpacks for six children in foster care. We are still in need of some space to operate in.
